1.1 this test method covers the test conditions and procedures that are applicable when practice g53 is employed for the exposure of bituminous roofing and waterproofing materials having a minimum softening point of approximately 200°f (95°c) as determined by test method d36.
1.2 the values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard.
